All of that gave me guidance to pursue the career I wanted. I learned so much from the coursework and was able to apply it to a new career path, where I am making a difference at a nonprofit that trains veterans to become software developers.

The environment of homeschoolers is very similar to college. You have to study on your own and take initiative. Having professors who believe in you makes a world of difference.

Concordia University has more than full-time professors and around part-time professors. While most of them are excellent and have a great reputation in their field, some of them are not so good. Many students suggest that there are a few professors who are difficult to approach and there are some who are more focused on their research rather than teaching.

Moreover, a lot of students also found it difficult to meet with an advisor of the university. So, while there are some great professors, overall, the academics of the university are not very impressive.
