Talking trash can in disney world

He was absolutely a fan favorite attraction. The rumors started late last week. It appears that the reason behind the removal is that the contract for the talking trash can act had expired. PUSH had been around for 19 years. There are no current plans to introduce a similar show back into the park.

I got to see Push at work so much, and he really was very special to Tomorrowland. Hopefully he will make a return soon. PUSH is my all time favorite Disney character. This makes me so sad! He leaves a hole in my Magic Kingdom visit. This is very sad. Something else must be going on. Push was fun, spontaneous and interacting. A dance party…generic. Things do not look good over there.

This is SO sad! The transmitter is hidden inside a large gym bag carried by one of them wherein a voice processor changes the second cast member's voice to a high-pitched, nasal register. Since they are within about 20 feet of the robot, they are able to make Push interact directly with guests and other cast members who are dressed as either atmosphere or face characters. Exact technical details are uncertain, but the robot appears to be propelled with the transmission, wheels and tires of a mobility scooter, the type of which Disney Theme Resorts rent in large numbers.
