Walmart boasts a huge number of branches across the US. This chain store has the facility of online pickup and delivery options as well. All the vegan items in Walmart are cheap and high quality. The most famous tofu available in Walmart is Nasoya extra firm tofu and Mori-Nu silken tofu. Most of the time, Walmart places tofu in the produce section surrounded by salad dressing, substitute meats, and wonton wrappers.
But if the tofu is not present in the produce section, it will probably be in the natural food section. The vegetarian food items are stored in refrigerators.
Walmart, like other stores, keeps silken tofu in vacuum-sealed packaging in the shelf-stable as opposed to refrigerators. Sometimes, Walmart places tofu in the dairy section as well which includes non-vegetarian items and different cheeses. Some branches of Walmart also display different variations of tofu in the meatless or vegetarian area of the freezers. It does not hold the standard tofu but the frozen foods having tofu in them.
This can also be an unlabeled freezer in the natural food area. If you have not spotted it yet, you can ask for the assistance of a salesperson near you. Meijer is similar to Target and Walmart in size. It is one of the largest US grocers and a midwestern regional American chain store with branches all over the states. Tons of vegan groceries can be bought at Meijer. There are many meatless, dairy-less, and eggless food items including tofu.
The entire Tofu collection at Meijer is organic. Since it is an enormous store, tofu is located in many different places. More often than not, Meijer places tofu in the meatless and tofu refrigerators. This is found in the natural food section and is directly beside the gluten-free aisle which holds bulk food bins and vitamin supplements.

Refrigerators in the Produce Section Look around the edges of the produce section. The tofu will usually be in one of those wall refrigerators. You can even freeze tofu but be warned it will change the consistency of the tofu. There are basically three types of tofu: Silken, Regular, and Marinated.
